Prayer of Salvation

Heavenly Father, I come before you recognizing the need for you in my life.  I admit that I have not done all things according to what you desire and ask forgiveness for times I have disappointed you.  However, I believe that you are a forgiving God and that you desire what is best for me.  I believe that because of your great love, you sent your Son into the world to help mankind. So today I confess with my mouth my belief that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that He lived on earth, died, and came back to life as God the Son.  I believe that in Jesus allowing himself to be put to death that He took the punishment for my sins.  It is because of what Jesus has done that my wrongdoings have been forgiven. Thank you God for allowing me to be accepted by you because of what Jesus has done.  As a result of these beliefs, I pray that you would come into my heart and help me to live a life pleasing to you. It is in the name of Jesus that I offer this prayer and thank you for loving me.
