Christian & Current
Can I be a Christian and still be a part of the “In Crowd”?
Yes. Making a commitment to live a life that honors God does not mean that you have to be weird, totally isolate yourself from the world, and no longer have fun.
Yes, you can still dress trendy, wear the current hairstyles, attend sporting events, and live a normal teenage life.
The primary difference is that you don’t compromise your moral and ethical beliefs to do these things. When there is a conflict between pleasing God and pleasing others, you choose God.
Note:
People’s opinions often change. Sometimes they like you. Sometimes they don’t. Just ask a previously popular professional athlete who is currently in a slump. The wisest thing is to be a person whose behavior pleases God.
People with good character are truly the “In Crowd” and gain favor/popularity with God.
